Oh my God this reminds me of an old Mac OS X game I used to play.
Virus
Sometimes anti-virus will call out any unknown .exe files. Have you tried installing it through the itch desktop app?
Its not a virus its just that the probram is not wraped like steam wraps your games so your anti virus thinks is a virus because its not white listed
