UPDATE:

I have just updated the demo "Star_Explorers_Demo_Update_Nov_4th.zip" this is the one that should work.

I found the cause.  I will upload a working version momentarily.  Sorry for the confusion!

I was working on my computer, but only because I already had a configuration file saved on my system.  If that file was not there, the game would not work properly after the changes were made...

I am working on this right now.  For some reason it runs fine on my computer but not on others...

I believe I know what the problem is and will be able to update later today.
