This update is somewhat experimental, and may still have some issues. However, it greatly improves Star Explorers' compatibility with different monitor resolutions.

Here you can see the game in ultrawide mode...It also includes, for the first time, an interactive guide that you have the option of disabling when you start a new game. The guide will take approximately 15 - 30 minutes to complete as you play the game. It limits some of your choices early on, and makes sure you understand the game's complex interface as you take steps through your first mission. The first few minutes will be pretty step by step, but then it will allow a bit more freedom as you begin to explore. If you haven't played the game before, or found the interface confusing, this will help to clarify a lot.
