Update 5.1.0

This latest update fixes several small bugs and makes a few enhancements to gameplay.
The biggest issue was with the "drop beacon" command.  Sometimes the main quest failed to trigger the beacon event, and the mothership would not be alerted to the player finding Acknexium crystals.  I believe this issue is resolved, but let me know if you have trouble with it. In any case, finding the crystals a second time would usually trigger the event when dropping the beacon, but it should work the first time.

Pixel Smoothing
This has been added back in to the game.  Under the Options > Video menu, you can choose "Smooth Pixels" to re enable the older look of the game.

Star Chart Overlay
You can now manually move the overlay cube in the star chart.  It should highlight the stars in the selected sector - even when that sector has not yet been added to your database.  This should help in discovering new areas, and is a feature many people suggested.

Planet Temperature
Planets now have three different temperatures.  Originally, the temperature on a planet was always the same, whether day, night or inside a cave.  Now each conditions offers a different temperature.  The helm computer will show the range of temperatures on the surface of a planet.  The low temperature is night, the high is day, and the number in brackets shows the current time (described in the help menu TAB).

Sleep Pod
The sleep pod will now allow for time to pass when you are orbiting a planet.  This is helpful because of the addition of day time and night time temperatures.  Sometimes either day or night may be too hot or cold for the player's space suit.  Instead of waiting for the planet to rotate, the player can now pass the time in the sleep pod a bit faster.

F11
This key will now toggle the HUD.  You can reassign this key, but currently you will have to do it manually through the "controls_5.cfg" file.

About Rebinding Controls
The game's options menu has a Controls menu where you can rebind keys. However, the HUD toggle and crouch features were added later, and did not fit on this menu. If you want to rebind those keys, you can still do it though.

In order to do so, first you will need to rebind any key via the in-game Controls menu.

Then, go to "C:Users-your username-AppDataLocalStar_Explorers" and find the "controls_5.cfg" file.

Open that file and type in your key of choice after the last two entries:
crouch, ctrl, (replace ctrl with your key of choice)
toggle HUD,F11, (replace F11 with your key of choice)

Please be careful not to delete any commas. Use the following codes for keys...
"a" - "z", "0" - "9", "f1" - "f12", "bksp", "enter", "esc", "alt", "ctrl". "shiftl", "shiftr", "space", "tab", "cuu", "cud", "cur", "cul", "pgup", "pgdn", "home", "end", "ins", "del", "car", "cal", "slash", "equals", "period", "comma", "brackl", "brackr", "semic", "bksl", "apos", "minusc", "grave", "apo", "minus", "plus", "sz", "ae", "ue", "oe", "scrlk", "pause", "caps".

I have not tested every possible key or how they all function - I don't even think my keyboard has a lot of these options ... grave?. If you encounter errors, it may be a good idea to just delete the "controls_5.cfg" and start over.
